Accelerating Healthcare Innovation with Trusted Privacy and Cloud Technology

Accelerating Healthcare Innovation with Trusted Privacy and Cloud Technology

Date of Event: June 2, 2022

Location: Webinar

As the pandemic has shown us, timely access to healthcare data is critical for advancing patient care and driving industry innovation. Privacy concerns often impede this vital data sharing and must be addressed to use data for secondary purposes safely.

De-identification is a way to protect the privacy of individual patients represented in data, making it safe to share and reuse. Yet de-identification processes can be complex and often require statistical expertise.

In this discussion, you’ll learn about an Azure-based solution that makes sensitive health data immediately accessible for safe, compliant, responsible uses, promoting innovation across the industry: from predictive analytics to precision medicine to innovation networks. With it, you can automate re-identification risk analyses under HIPAA, generating statistical proof that patients are not identifiable.

Join us to learn how leading innovators in the industry benefit from advancements in technology from Privacy Analytics and Microsoft.

Speakers:

  • Sarah Lyons, Head of Privacy Analytics
  • Dr. Clifford Goldsmith, U.S. Chief Medical Officer, Microsoft Corporation
